Our Growers
Seedmark's professional, dedicated and full time grower team is among the best and the largest in the world, with many of them also being shareholders in our company.
The South-East of South Australia is our primary pasture seed production area due to the inherent seed production advantages that the region offers. With a Mediterranean climate, access to irrigation water and suitable soil types, the South-East has a distinct seed commercialisation advantage in the growth of high quality, reliable and cost competitive seed. Other areas where Seedmark have significant pasture production capabilities include the Mid North of South Australia, Western Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. This geographical spread delivers to our customers the added reliability of supply.
When focussing on Field Crop, production is spread across all states where seed is also marketed and sold, allowing for logistical ease, maximising supply and minimising time to market. Seedmark has an excellent group of “year on year” production growers in all areas that consistently deliver high quality seed in order to meet the expectations of our business.
Across these many differing production zones, Seedmark currently produce in excess of 90 individual proprietary varieties and over 40 common varieties.
