New varieties show promise for WA

Three new pulse varieties have been unveiled for the Australian market, with the first expected to have a limited release this year. Seedmark has won a tender to distribute the new Albus lupin, WALAB 2014, in Western Australia, possibly from 2012, and two Desi chickpeas for southern Australia from 2013.Seedmark plans to build on its ongoing marketing plans for both the Albus lupin and its two Desi chickpea varieties and expects growers to see significant benefits from both.....
